Maybe the Welders have brought their punchy, infectious, post-punk rock to the NYC masses for a number of years. Over the past several months, they have expanded their enthusiastic fan base to Great Britain and beyond, as well as scoring a licensing deal with Viacom. Check out their official MTV page here:mtv.com/artists/maybe-the-welders. MTW's five latest singles were recorded by Ben Rice of Black Bells, mixed by Boston music stalwart Matt Girard, and mastered by Jeff Lipton of Peerless Mastering --a recent Grammy nominee and mastering engineer for Best New Artist Grammy winner, Bon Iver -- these recordings capture the true, live sound of MtW. Their newest single, Scene from a film, is available on iTunes, Amazon.com, and at their shows, with a video comin soon. In the mean time, check out the video for "Bartlett's Quotations" after the jump.
